Position to work hybrid in Lima, Peru.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert when it comes to designing and launching new Wallet products and payment flows while ensuring compliance with the existing financial crime control framework
- Act as liaison between PMO, Product, Business and specialized Risk and Compliance teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and delivered
- Decide on necessity of performing Financial Crime assessments on certain new products and payment flows
- Gather structured information for new products, payment flows, partnerships for the purpose of а Financial Crime assessment
- Work closely with Product to understand their business model, software tools, and products to be able to advise them on how best to implement Risk and Compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities to enable the Wallet business through better and more efficient control framework
- Work with other Business agents to promote best practices across the Paysafe Group
- Maintain visibility of all areas of Risk and Compliance within Wallets
- Lead certain Risk and Compliance projects around controls and/or regulatory requirements implementation
- Any other duties deemed necessary both now and, in the future, to meet the business needs
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in a Risk or a Compliance role preferably within the Digital Wallets industry
- Skilled in assessing jurisdictional risk variations across LATAM and translating them into clear compliance recommendations for stakeholders
- Previous experience in digital wallets, remittances, and other e-money sectors will be considered an advantage
- Strong understanding of Compliance, Risk and Controls frameworks and policies
- Comfortable working independently, with a proactive mindset
- Fast learner, able to quickly understand business processes and identify gaps
- Ability to manage numerous projects and ensure delivery within deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong influencer, able to persuade senior stakeholders and ensure compliance to policies
- Comfortable working with senior management across the business
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Portuguese preferred to support Brazil‑related advisory work
