What to expect
- Execute daily payments to Merchants, Shoppers, and Vendors ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor payment transactions and confirm successful completion across banking platforms.
- Manage merchant payment schedules and ensure adherence to agreed payment frequencies.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations for assigned accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Follow up on unmatched or “No Bank” transactions with banking partners.
- Monitor wallet processes and safeguarding account funding to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports and supporting documentation in line with SOX requirements.
- Produce reports related to bank fees, payment expenses, and reconciliation activities.
- Support merchant onboarding by conducting bank transfer testing and payment setup validations.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Controlling, and Accounting teams to resolve payment-related inquiries and operational issues.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, treasury operations, payments, or financial operations.
- Experience with payment processing and bank reconciliation activities.
- Understanding of financial controls, compliance processes, or SOX-related environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive processes and high-volume transactions.
- Experience working with banking platforms, reconciliation tools, or payment systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
