Position to work hybrid in Lima, Peru.
What to Expect:
- Be part of a divisional controlling team with strong business and finance acumen
- Oversee all aspects of monthly closing, reporting, and analysis for a dedicated divisional IS/ BS area
- Provide expert financial and accounting advice on new business initiatives, processes, and changes in accounting standards to different stakeholders
- Support monthly, quarterly, annual internal and external reporting
- Ensure SOX controls and procedures are maintained and regularly performed
- Support requests from external and internal auditors
- Participate in finance projects for system improvements, reporting optimization, and other ad-hoc projects, including product support, within finance team
- Drive process and systems efficiencies in all areas of responsibility. Review, critically assess current systems, and recommend ways to achieve maximum optimization
To be successful you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification or certification preferred, such as CPA, Chartered Accountant, or local equivalent.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial control, reporting, audit, or finance operations, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Peruvian statutory accounting, tax requirements, regulatory compliance, and local financial reporting obligations. Experience with regulated payment institutions in Peru (2+ years) will be considered an advantage.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, internal controls, balance sheet governance, and corporate reporting standards.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate finance teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across local, regional, and global teams.
- Experience with OneStream/SAP B1 and/or Oracle Fusion will be considered an advantage
