Objective

Provide continuous support in the administration and optimization of the product’s cloud‑based technology platform, ensuring its proper performance and security, managing incidents and end‑user requests, and implementing continuous improvements through process automation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously assess the product’s cloud technology infrastructure. Properly manage and size infrastructure and/or core services to ensure high availability and appropriate performance levels.
  • Continuously monitor the platform’s performance and security. Perform ongoing monitoring of hosts, services, and/or applications through automated tools and alerts to prevent and resolve incidents.
  • Configure the product’s core technology platform. Ensure optimal configuration of servers, processes, network services, and security within the cloud platform, with ongoing supervision.
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure in an automated manner. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve operational processes.
  • Support infrastructure documentation management. Keep internal documentation up to date (procedures, manuals, infrastructure or architecture diagrams, etc.) and maintain the service inventory to ensure a solid knowledge base and generate required reports.
  • Automate processes and procedures. Develop automated applications and/or routines to facilitate application/software deployments by the development team, as well as access to and usage of platform resources by users.
  • Provide support and collaboration with other areas and teams. Act as a liaison with other technical teams and assist in the joint execution of their projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Proven experience of more than 3 years as a Systems Administrator, SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), or similar roles.
  • Experience in Payment Services, eCommerce, or Electronic Channels is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Windows and Linux servers, databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), infrastructure automation (Linux Bash/Shell scripting, PowerShell), Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation), container management software (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD deployment and integration tools (GitLab, CI/CD pipelines), and ticket management systems (Zendesk, ServiceNow) is considered a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and governance skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
