About the role

Provide continuous support in the administration and optimization of the product’s cloud technology platform, ensuring its correct performance and security. This includes managing incidents and user requests, as well as implementing continuous improvements through process automation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Continuous Evaluation of Cloud Infrastructure

• Assess the product’s cloud technology infrastructure on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure proper administration and sizing of the infrastructure and/or product base services to guarantee high availability and adequate performance levels.

2. Performance and Security Monitoring

• Continuously supervise the cloud platform’s performance and security.
• Monitor hosts, services, and/or applications using automated tools and alerts to prevent and resolve incidents.

3. Configuration of Core Technology Platform

• Configure servers, processes, network services, and security within the cloud platform.
• Ensure continuous oversight of the environment.

4. Automated Cloud Infrastructure Deployment

• Create and design cloud infrastructure using automation.
• Carry out automated deployments of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) resources to improve operational processes.

5. Documentation Management Support

• Maintain internal documentation updated (procedures, manuals, infrastructure/architecture diagrams, etc.).
• Maintain service inventories to support a strong knowledge base and generate necessary reports.

6. Process and Procedure Automation

• Develop automated applications and routines that support deployment processes for development teams and facilitate access or use of platform resources for users.

7. Assistance to Other Areas and Teams

• Collaborate with other technical teams, supporting joint delivery of projects.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or related fields.
• Over 3 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar roles.
• Experience in Payment Services, E Commerce, or Digital Channels is considered an advantage.
• English fluent.

Technical Knowledge

• AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Windows and Linux servers
• Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Infrastructure automation: Bash/Shell scripting, PowerShell
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
• Container management: Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines
• Ticketing systems: Zendesk, ServiceNow (SNOW)
