Position Summary

Reporting to the SVP Global SMB Sales, the VP Direct Agent Sales is a pivotal role responsible for the overall sales and operations of Paysafe’s Direct Agent and In-Market Sales teams.  This seasoned and strategic leader will set the strategy for building the team, structure and driving revenue. Will lead and develop the team, processes, and technologies for the division with a focus on delivering on revenue targets. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Along with the team leadership, develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build and grow Paysafe’s in-market and agent program
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of merchant services or the payments space and the role of agents in the space
  • Leads the agent sales and in-market teams and sets sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increasing MID count
  • Collaborate and foster key relationships with cross-functional teams – marketing, product, merchant onboarding, deployment and other operational functions
  • Develops key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers, helping sales team to make data-driven decisions
  • Assist with the design, development and implementation of a motivating incentive compensation plan in support of the company’s KPIs
  • Responsible for daily operations and the design and implementation of scalable and effective sales and support processes
  • Create, maintain, and present documentation including training materials, rules of engagement, and process maps to ensure adherence to internal policies
  • Develops an environment that ensures all employees are aligned with business goals, objectives and values
  • Analyzes metrics, produces reports, and dashboards to support both short and long-term growth
  • Performs all necessary management functions effectively and efficiently manage personnel assigned; recommends salary adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited College or a combination of equivalent work experience and education
  • At least 15 years of related merchant services, payments or fintech sales experience in a similar role
  • “Out-of-the-box” thinker who can develop creative and innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Proven track record with building and growing an early stage outside sales and/or agent function within the merchant services space
  • Strong hands-on leader with robust people management experience and ability to motivate
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action and influence all levels within the organization
  • Strong business acumen; advanced analytical skills
  • Problem solver with willingness to take appropriate risks to seek solutions
  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness
  • Ability to accept and administer corrective guidance, coaching, and/or counseling
  • Experience managing a P&L
  • Highly organized with advanced multi-tasking and follow-up skills
  • Professional and effective written and oral communication skills. Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively to satisfy the needs of the customer, both internal and external, as well as management
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SalesForce expertise a plus
