To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for a Treasury Analyst.
Position Overview
The Treasury Analyst will report to the North American Treasury Manager. The role consists of an individual to support the Paysafe’s Treasury Operations for its US and Canadian businesses. The North American Treasury Operations Team works closely with the Group Treasury team in London.
This role is based in Jacksonville, FL and offers a hybrid working model of working remotely while also being able to work an average of three days per week from our office in Jacksonville.
The role promotes and enables growth potential and development of Treasury objectives and various learning initiatives; given the changing treasury risks and issues facing the business as it expands and develops. This experience will include, but limited to, working with various disciplines within the company including accounting, legal and various group functions abroad. Additionally, Treasury Analyst will be provided training and is expected to become key user of the group’s treasury management system (‘TMS) – through which treasury deals are booked and recorded.
The role will involve providing analysis for decision making, forecasting cash requirements, and supporting the local company’s operations cash needs.
The key areas of responsibility are:
- Support Cash Forecasting process
- Prepare daily consolidated cash position from the TMS
- Where needed, load daily cash balances into Integrity to ensure they are reporting timely and properly by the bank Input Treasury transactions into the TMS, including:
- Inter-company loan movements and interest
- External RCF loan draw-downs, interest and repayments,
- Inter-account payments / transfers
- To ensure that all Treasury transactions are correctly entered into the Group’s TMS.
- To ensure that Treasury reconciliations are completed daily in the TMS and discrepancies are investigated.
- To ensure that appropriate reconciliation sign-off evidence is maintained for SOX and control purposes.
- Execute daily cash management including managing inter-account sweeps using TMS functionality. Monitoring daily liquidity of the currency in Company bank accounts, initiating inter-account payments as necessary.
- Utilize treasury technology to develop reporting for monthly fee analysis and recommend cost savings
- Leverage treasury technology to identify opportunities and create efficiencies
- Responsible for initiating and preparing all ach, wires, interbank/intrabank transfers across all bank accounts with appropriate approvals and documentation
- Stop payment administration/maintenance
- Prepare month-end close schedule(s), accompanied by proper supporting documentation for cash entries or Revolver interest accruals and calculations to submit to accounting to record
- Bank statement and Client Service statement maintenance/organization
- Responsible for communicating daily ACH rejects to AP, Financial Services, and Accounting teams
- Work with local treasury team to ensure compliance with all group treasury policies
- Support the local and group treasury team in the further development of treasury reporting as well as the implementation of any banking system development and enhancements
- Develop strong relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Respond to general treasury, accounting, bank, and auditor queries
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, or similar fields. A combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Treasury Analyst or comparable role.
- Minimum of 2 years’ Accounting experience and fundamental accounting knowledge and skill
- Experience with billing, merchant payments and/or accounting entries
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Prior use of a Treasury Management System would be beneficial
- Oracle experience is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent team player
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Highly organized, able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
