Overview

 

This is a unique opportunity to join Paysafe, a leading specialized payments platform, in the role of Social Media Manager to manage and evaluate our social media channels and develop, plan and execute social media campaigns.

 

Reporting to the VP, Public Relations, and sitting within the global corporate communications function, this is a key role within a high performing, international team operating in the fast-paced and dynamic fintech industry.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to make a significant impact on Paysafe’s brand through digital engagement. The successful candidate will collaborate with various internal stakeholders at every level of the business to support their respective strategies and ensure an aligned, relevant and consistent voice is delivered through Paysafe’s digital channels.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Review Paysafe’s current social media presence and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the communications team to define, implement or, where necessary adapt the social media strategy by channel to reflect Paysafe’s corporate narrative, brand and values.
  • Amplify Paysafe’s employer brand strategy through creative campaigns which support our recruitment goals.
  • Manage and optimise Paysafe’s social media channels and pages across multiple platforms to increase Paysafe’s brand awareness and online reputation.
  • Own the social media publishing plan to support the needs of various internal stakeholders.
  • Promote content on our Paysafe Insights blog and support major company milestones and events across social media.
  • Measure the effectiveness of Paysafe’s social media activity on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to review and amend activity as required.
  • Monitor, listen and respond to user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each social community; identify threats and risks in user generated content.
  • Provide knowledge and expertise to internal teams using social media and support the communications team to increase sharing among divisions and geographies with approaches and tools aligned to Paysafe policies and business priorities.
  • Source and develop visuals which can be leveraged across our social media channels and liaise with design teams/agencies to brief in creative assets.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (Business, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree, required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience working social media management, required.
  • Solid technical and professional expertise with online marketing tools and web-based technologies
  • Excellent communications, writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Positive approach towards people and tasks
  • Ability to influence team members for whom you don’t have direct authority
  • Ability to juggle priorities and thrive in an exceptionally fast-paced environment with a flexible approach; available out of hours when needed, especially in a reactive situation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • International experience or experience of working in related fields beneficial
  • Occasional international travel required
  • Payments knowledge useful
