We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Travel to define and execute the product strategy for the fast-evolving travel vertical, covering online travel agencies (OTAs), airlines, hotels, and mobility platforms.

In this role, you will focus on delivering seamless, secure, and global payment experiences for some of the world’s leading travel brands. You will be responsible for understanding the complex needs of travel merchants and travelers, developing payment products that enhance customer satisfaction, mitigate fraud, and drive operational efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of travel payments by working cross-functionally with travel providers, acquirers, payment networks, risk and compliance teams, and technology partners in a fast-paced, global fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Development

  • Define and lead the travel vertical product strategy in alignment with Paysafe’s global Unified Commerce Platform.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive benchmarking across OTAs, airlines, hotels, and mobility providers to identify pain points and innovation opportunities.
  • Develop business cases for travel-centric payment methods, such as split payments, delayed settlement, loyalty integrations, and multi-currency support.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to validate merchant needs and identify regional and segment-specific opportunities.
  • Stay informed on travel industry regulations (e.g., PSD2, SCA, IATA standards, refund mandates) and evolving consumer behaviors (e.g., mobile-first travel, cross-border booking trends).

Innovation & Payment Solutions

  • Design and deliver payment experiences optimized for travel lifecycle events – bookings, modifications, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Integrate Paysafe’s core assets (card processing, digital wallets, cash solutions, APMs, risk tools) into merchant flows to reduce chargebacks and improve traveler confidence.
  • Explore new capabilities such as embedded finance (travel insurance, BNPL for travel), traveler wallet ecosystems, and AI-powered risk scoring for high-ticket items.
  • Work with global acquiring and payment partners to expand acceptance, reduce cross-border friction, and increase approval rates in travel-heavy corridors.

Execution & Delivery

  • Own and maintain the travel product roadmap, prioritizing features based on merchant demand, growth potential, and global scalability.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and operations teams to execute seamless integrations for travel merchants with complex tech stacks and booking engines.
  • Ensure products are compliant with evolving industry regulations, including payment authorization, refunds, and consumer protection laws.
  • Lead go-to-market activities in collaboration with marketing and business development to promote Paysafe’s travel payments value proposition.
  • Track and optimize KPIs such as booking conversion, refund friction, chargeback rates, travel merchant satisfaction, and net revenue contribution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments in the travel, fintech, or eCommerce industry.
  • Solid understanding of travel commerce ecosystems, including airline, OTA, hotel, and mobility platform operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in payment flows for bookings, cancellations, refunds, split settlements, and multi-currency transactions.
  • Knowledge of global travel compliance standards (e.g., IATA, PSD2/SCA, PCI-DSS) and consumer protections (e.g., refund policies, cancellations).
  • Experience working with leading travel brands or platforms (e.g., Expedia, Booking.com, Delta, Emirates, Uber, Airbnb).
  • Proven ability to design frictionless user experiences and merchant onboarding flows with a strong sense of traveler behaviors and needs.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing, funnel optimization, and KPI tracking (e.g., approval rates, refund speed, customer satisfaction).
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams across risk, compliance, legal, engineering, and commercial units.
