Paysafe is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Merchant Experience to accelerate growth in the US SMB Merchant business. This role is in the SMB Product Pillar and is responsible for integrating and launching new features and solutions into market within the merchant and partner portals. This position requires a broad spectrum of expertise in both card present and card not present payment processing in the SMB space as well as a working technical knowledge of system integration and software design, especially platforms used by FinTech companies and merchants.
This individual will partner with the sales, pricing, risk, compliance, marketing, legal, privacy and technology teams to drive the merchant and partner projects to completion. The ideal candidate for this position will lead and influence other groups within Paysafe to build a world class merchant experience for SMB merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product and Engineering in defining scope and charter of the projects
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps in the solution
- Run customer tests and surveys to identify areas of improvement in the usability of the solution
- Work closely with the Product Design team to create exceptional user experiences
- Create and maintain a healthy, well-defined product backlog against the defined roadmap and key objectives
- Collaborative with business stakeholders to validate business logic and create requirements for Engineering
- Manage team sprints and agile meetings
- Create well defined processes, product flows, user journeys, release notes etc. and keep information up to date
- Measure and monitor the performance metrics of the product and identify areas of iterative improvement
- Engage with the Engineering teams to create the best technical implementations and define a realistic schedules
- Work alongside Engineering leads to identify releases and feature deployment timelines
Requirements/Skills:
- 5+ years building commercial software products
- 7+ years of product management experience or equivalent product strategy experience
- 7+ years of all aspects of the payment processing industry, particularly in the SMB merchant space is highly desirable
- Strong experience managing commercial software products as well as payment device hardware products is a plus
- Ability to achieve strong results while working on multi-team projects
- Strong English communication skills, analytical, and organizational skills, and a self-starter mentality
- Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to both external client and internal executive teams
- Proven experience in defining product specifications in large-scale enterprise applications.
- Expertise in Agile methodology
- Experience working in a diverse and multi-location company
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Gathering functional requirements and validating them with stakeholders
- Support the roadmap process and execute requirements across multiple teams
