Position Overview 
 

Paysafe is currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive, Enterprise & Direct Marketing based in the US who will bring international experience selling across a global organization in the payments space. We are looking for someone with deep industry connections and experience in the payments’ industry to join the Paysafe team. The opportunity will include selling directly to merchants within specialized verticals. The primary solution offered will be card processing with additional solutions such as White Label Wallets, eCash and other Paysafe solutions for multi-solution sales. This position will be focused on new logo sales in the primary segments.  This individual is expected to identify niche markets that are untapped and possess a clear ability to solidify and bring sales deals to term. They are also knowledgeable with various sales channels, methodologies, and pricing practices specific to the payments/processing industry. This position will report to the VP Sales, Direct Marketing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sell within the payments industry to mid-market and tier 1 clients with a focus on diversification.
  • Solicit clients and potential new revenue sources through cold calling, networking through strategic partners, by subscribing to industry blogs, publications and social media and industry events.
  • Explore and utilize new revenue sources
  • Achieve and exceed annual booking and revenue targets with new logo sales.
  • Ensure CRM reporting is accurate and regularly updated, to ensure up to date forecasting of opportunities are maintained.
  • Stakeholder management with all business units, marketing, product, technology, and operations teams to identify impactful opportunities and drive partnerships to execution.
  • Leverage relationships in the payments industry that will assist and provide opportunity for revenue generation.
  • Travel to key industry events; including both domestic and international travel as needed.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (Business, Marketing, Finance) or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree, required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ prior experience and success in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales, required (payments industry, preferred).
  • Creative problem solver and innovator – ability to build new business models
  • Able to make thoughtful, actionable recommendations under minimal structure, and quickly build consensus with senior level internally and external stakeholders.
  • Collegial, high energy, and persistent personality, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce platform providers, system Integrators and their corresponding technical/payment infrastructure
  • Proven ability to work/perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 
  • Impeccable ethics and customer first focus
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and business judgment
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables
