This role is based in Jacksonville, Florida and offers a blend of 3 in office working days and 2 remote working days during the work week.
What you will be doing
The Sales Administrator oversees the efficient management and routing of sales leads to designated Sales Managers, ensuring that each lead is properly reviewed, validated according to our compliance guidelines, and assigned to the appropriate sales representative. In this role, you will work with industry-leading platforms to manage and distribute leads, handle inbound calls, and maintain accurate data for sales tracking. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to optimize lead allocation processes for maximum sales productivity. The primary objective of a Sales Administrator is ensuring leads are accurately processed and validated before being submitted to the sales team for further progression in the sales pipeline, tracking performance, balancing lead distribution and accelerating lead conversion outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Check and qualify incoming leads to ensure they meet the required criteria and contain the correct information.
- Efficiently allocate and balance leads to the appropriate sales team members, considering factors such as territory, expertise, and workload to drive optimal sales results.
- Develop and improve strategies for balanced and efficient lead distribution, ensuring a fair and productive workload for the sales team
- Maintain and update lead information in Salesforce, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date for tracking and reporting
- Route inbound sales inquiries to the appropriate team members, ensuring a professional and timely response
- Work closely with the Supervisor and Sales team to understand their needs, helping to ensure that leads are appropriately managed and followed up on.
- Track and analyze lead portfolio and sales activity, and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously work on improving the lead distribution process to enhance efficiency and improve overall sales outcomes.
- Handle e-mail inquiries, ensuring they are directed to the right person or department for timely resolution.
- Coordinate and work with other departments on new account activations
What we are looking for
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree, required.
- Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a sales or lead administration role within a or similar role in a sales environment (payment industry preferred)
- Familiarity with lead scoring and best practices for lead routing
- You demonstrate excellent enthusiasm and have a strong work ethic, necessary to succeed in a fast-moving, competitive, and results-driven environment.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, can easily multi-task and handle a high volume of work and you are a solid team player.
- You are detail-oriented, diligent and possess good analytical skills
- High attention to sensitive data, with the ability to handle high level of confidentiality
- Working knowledge in Salesforce as the primary CRM for lead tracking and data management.
- Experience with Kubaru or AWS Connect for managing leads and inbound phone calls
- You have the flexibility to work on Saturdays (1-2 per month)
