The Resource Manager, Product Delivery plays a critical role in strengthening delivery execution across the Product portfolio. This role oversees workload balancing, skills alignment, and day-to-day operating support for project managers and program managers within the product delivery organization. The Resource Manager ensures their team is staffed appropriately, operating effectively, and positioned to meet delivery expectations tied to capital planning, quarterly commitments, and strategic initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Workforce Planning and Talent Development

  • Serve as a coordination point for resource requests and assign resources to initiatives based on scope, capacity, skill set, and priority.
  • Maintain a real time view of resource availability, constraints, and conflicts across the Product portfolio.
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers to understand upcoming demand, validate priorities, and identify resourcing gaps early.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development planning for delivery team members.
  • Support career progression frameworks that align with project, program, and portfolio management paths.
  • Identify strengths and gaps across the team and recommend targeted training or upskilling.

Delivery Operations Support and Governance

  • Drive consistency in delivery processes, documentation, and reporting standards across all delivery team resources.
  • Ensure teams understand expectations for requirements readiness, capital planning inputs, and governance checkpoints.
  • Ensure changes in scope, budget, and timelines are tracked and escalated in line with best practices and governance policies.
  • Help mature the delivery operating model by identifying process gaps and recommending improvements.

 

Core Competencies:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems) or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • 8+ years in project, program, PMO, or delivery operations roles.
  • 5+ years of people management experience, or equivalent operational leadership demonstrating strong team management capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of the project lifecycle management, resource allocation, and portfolio delivery.
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication skills, the ability to navigate shifting priorities, and a mindset focused on accountability, clarity, and project management discipline.
  • PMP or equivalent professional qualification, highly preferred.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or other technology-driven financial services, ideally with exposure to global payment methods and compliance frameworks, is strongly preferred.
