Role Description
We are moving fast on AI and the ambition is real. Our organization is generating ideas, prototypes, and partnerships at pace. What we need now is someone who can bring discipline to the demand, clarity to the portfolio, and a compelling narrative to everything we are building.
This role sits at the intersection of delivery leadership, strategic communication, and organizational change. You will own the intake and prioritization of AI-powered initiatives, keep delivery moving with visibility and accountability, and tell the story of our AI progress to stakeholders at every level. But equally importantly, you will be the person who makes AI feel accessible, relevant, and exciting to every employee across the globe, not just the engineers building it. You will help design the guardrails that make responsible AI use possible and then tear down the unnecessary barriers that stop people from using it.
If you get energized by turning ambiguity into momentum, and by bringing an entire organization on a journey rather than just shipping projects, this is the seat for you.
Key Responsibilities
Intake and Prioritization
- Design and operate the intake process for AI initiative requests coming from across the business, creating structure where there is currently noise
- Work with the Chief Architect, Chief of Staff and engineering leads to evaluate, triage, and prioritize requests against strategic value, feasibility, and capacity
- Maintain a clear and current view of the AI initiative portfolio so leadership always knows what is in flight, what is next, and what has been parked and why
Delivery Oversight
- Partner closely with GenAI Engineers to track progress, surface blockers, and keep work moving across the portfolio
- Manage WIP discipline so the team is focused and set up to succeed, not spread thin across too many simultaneous efforts
- Drive accountability without micromanagement, knowing when to push and when to get out of the way
Storytelling and Communication
- Build and maintain the narrative around what we are doing with AI, why it matters, and what impact it is generating
- Develop executive-ready communications, including board and leadership updates, that translate technical progress into business outcomes
- Create the mechanisms to capture and share AI wins across the organization so momentum is visible and celebrated
AI Evangelism and Adoption
- Serve as a global advocate for AI adoption, actively identifying and communicating where AI can solve real problems, eliminate friction, and unlock efficiency across every function and geography
- Develop and deliver enablement content, internal campaigns, and practical guidance that helps employees at all levels understand what AI can do for them specifically, in their role, on their team
- Support the community of practice around AI usage across the organization, creating spaces where employees can share what is working, ask questions, and build on each other's ideas
- Partner with HR, communications, and regional leads to ensure the AI adoption story lands globally, accounting for different contexts, needs, and starting points across our workforce
- Close the gap between the people building AI solutions and the people who need to use them, making sure nothing great gets built in a vacuum
Governance and Responsible AI
- Steward a lightweight AI governance framework that enables speed and experimentation while managing risk
- Define clear guidance on when and how AI tools should be used across different contexts, from customer-facing to internal operations, ensuring employees have confident answers rather than anxious uncertainty
- Work with Legal, Compliance, and Security to translate their requirements into practical, people-friendly policy that does not inadvertently freeze adoption
- Establish feedback loops so the governance framework evolves as our AI maturity grows and the external landscape shifts
- Make responsible AI use a source of organizational pride and competitive differentiation, not just a compliance obligation
Who You Are
- You have a background in delivery leadership or program management, ideally with exposure to technology or product organizations
- You have worked in or alongside engineering teams and know how to earn credibility with technical partners without needing to be the most technical person in the room
- You are a natural communicator who can write a crisp executive summary, run a prioritization working session with engineers, and then present to an all-hands without losing the room
- You understand agile and lean delivery principles and know how to apply them pragmatically rather than dogmatically
- You are genuinely energized by AI, not just as a subject to manage, but as a capability you want to understand deeply and advocate for with conviction
- You think about adoption as a design problem, not a communications afterthought, and you have experience bringing skeptical or hesitant audiences along on a change journey
- You believe that governance done well creates freedom, not friction, and you have the credibility to make that case to both executives and the front line
- You operate well in ambiguity and treat a messy intake queue, a blank governance framework, and an uncharted adoption landscape as puzzles to solve, not reasons to wait for clarity
- Familiarity with AI/ML product development cycles and what makes GenAI initiatives different from traditional software delivery
Nice to Have
- Experience building measurement frameworks to quantify productivity, efficiency, or capability gains
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, or similar portfolio management platforms
- Prior experience working directly with a CTO, Chief Architect, or senior technical executive
What Success Looks Like
Within 90 days, the AI initiative pipeline has a front door, a clear owner, and a prioritization process that people trust. WIP is visible and managed. The Chief Architect and engineering team are spending less time on intake overhead and more time building. Leadership has a regular, credible view of progress and impact.
Within six months, employees across the globe know where to go when they have an AI idea, a question about what is allowed, or a problem they think AI could solve. They feel equipped and empowered, not left behind. A governance framework exists that enables rather than inhibits, and the people closest to Legal and Compliance trust it.
At the one year mark, AI adoption at Paysafe is a story told consistently externally. The wins are documented, the community is active, and the organization has developed a genuine muscle for finding and delivering AI-powered improvements.
