The Company’s North America Legal Department is seeking a reliable and proactive Corporate Legal Administrator to work out of our Irvine, California Location.  This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment, where you will have a blend of office days and remote working days during the week.

Position Overview
The Corporate Senior Legal Administrator will work directly with Paysafe’s in-house and outside law firm attorneys, as well as its in-house compliance personnel, in connection with litigation, complaint management, compliance and contract related matters. 

The responsibilities of the Senior Legal Administrator will include:

  • Sorting and distributing incoming electronic and/or physical communications to the Department, including, without limitation, subpoenas and/or legal requests, complaints, litigation or threats thereof  
  • Maintaining Department logs for subpoenas and/or legal requests, complaints, litigation or threats thereof, and creating new logs as needed  
  • Organizing and maintaining files for the Department
  • Tracking and calendaring deadlines for various legal responses
  • Gathering and preparing documents in connection with subpoenas served upon the Company, preparing certifications and responses to same
  • Investigating, gathering, and preparing documents in connection with complaints served upon the Company and preparing responses to same under the direction of Department attorneys
  • Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents for attorneys
  • Analyzing records and make recommendations to attorneys
  • Creating reports for Department personnel
  • Monitoring changes to government guidelines or regulations related to the payment processing industry
  • Coordinating company-wide communications related to policies and procedures
  • Arranging internal and external meetings for attorneys
  • Helping prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as needed
  • Liaising and managing relationship with eDiscovery vendor

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college; with an interest in law or Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies 
  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a legal assistant or comparable role, preferably in a corporate environment with litigation experience, or at a law firm 
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a demonstrable ability to work independently
  • Team-focused attitude
  • Strong writing, research and report-generating skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point SharePoint and One Drive
  • Able to effectively multi-task and manage time-sensitive documents 
  • Office administration experience
  • Have problem identification, analysis and evaluation skills
  • Knowledge of Westlaw or other computerized legal research system(s)
  • Basic principles, concepts and methodology of legal proceedings and legal research
  • Self-starter and proactive, willing to learn the payment processing industry and obtain new skills
