To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for an experienced Merchant Onboarding & Deployment Specialist. 

 

Position Overview:

The Merchant Onboarding & Deployment Specialist is responsible for setting up new merchant accounts and equipment on various platforms through multiple systems.  The Merchant Onboarding & Deployment Specialist is also expected to create a positive customer experience throughout the onboarding and deployment process through accuracy, care, and attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold data integrity of accounts and parameters in multiple systems

  • Input, verify, and edit data during entry process in an efficient and accurate manner

  • Liaise between departments for approval, signoff, and confirmation

  • Monitor work queues and ensure all items are actioned within established service level agreements (SLA)

  • Set up new equipment, both hardware and software

  • Verify and validate compatibility of equipment types across multiple platforms

  • Create file builds and perform test transactions to confirm account configuration

  • Troubleshoot customer gateway setups and issues

  • Identify issues and discern requirements related to robotic process automation (RPA)

  • Assist with multi-department projects and research related items when needed

 

Qualifications: 

  • College experience preferred, not required

  • Industry experience preferred, not required

  • Strong interpersonal skills – willing and able to collaborate with others for answers

  • Excellent time management and follow up skills

  • Technically inclined; enjoys learning new systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to think analytically

  • Able to be honest and keep customer and company information confidential

  • Ability to work independently and with others

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Fast learner, professional, able to remain focused on assigned tasks

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and other data programs

  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

  • Proficiency in data entry skills, with 90% accuracy and a minimum of 50 WPM

  • Proficiency in basic math skills

  • Basic equipment network knowledge (ethernet, cellular, dial-up, WiFi, etc)
