As an IT Business Analyst, your primary objective is to support the implementation of software solutions that meet business goals in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, defining business needs, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, product managers, and development teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze business operations and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
•Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements through meetings, interviews, and observation.
•Construct workflow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to illustrate proposed solutions.
•Translate business needs into clear and concise technical specifications.
•Work closely with developers, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals.
•Participate in solution design, review, and testing processes.
•Monitor and support projects throughout the SDLC, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
•Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist with training or documentation as needed during deployment.
•Safeguard confidential information and maintain user trust by adhering to data privacy and security protocols.
•Conduct ad hoc analyses to investigate operational issues or validate proposed changes.
•Recommend and implement controls and improvements by identifying inefficiencies and developing optimized procedures.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
•Strong understanding of software functional analysis and business process modeling.
•Minimum of two years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
•Solid grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
•Proficiency in reading and writing technical documentation in English.
•Experience documenting business processes, procedures, and use cases.
•Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries is strongly preferred.
•Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality results on time.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
•Professional demeanor with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
•Familiarity with UML modeling is a plus.
•Basic knowledge of HTML and ability to create UI mockups is a strong plus.
•Hands-on experience with tools like Postman or similar API testing tools is a big plus.
•Understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs is a big plus.
•Previous experience in banking, financial systems, payment methods, or fintech environments is highly desirable.
•Strong English communication skills are a major plus.
