Paysafe has an ambitious goal to deliver a best-in-class Finance Function. The Senior Finance Project Manager role resides within Enterprise Delivery and together with IT and Finance teams, will play a key role in delivering that goal.

We are looking for a candidate who has a deep level of knowledge and experience in Program or Project Management and has significant prior experience delivering change in a Finance organization (e.g. Finance Systems, Financial Control, Treasury, or Tax)


As part of the Enterprise Delivery group, this role will work alongside Group and Divisional Finance Teams in managing one or more finance change projects within the Finance portfolio to achieve the agreed business outcomes.


The Senior Project Manager is accountable for:

  • Project Establishment - Define and build the project charter leveraging analytical skills, judgement, prior experience and the knowledge from SME’s to help define the project objectives, success criteria, governance structure and a delivery plan that sets the project up for success.
  • Planning - Develop a comprehensive project management plan that stakeholders, teams, and sponsors can follow throughout each phase of the project.
  • Execution – Guide and manage the project(s) in every aspect, including overseeing technology, processes, and change management. This will include accountability to carefully manage stakeholder expectations ensuring no miscommunications or misunderstandings.
  • Monitoring and Controlling – Manage, track and monitor all project activities, control quality standards, and communication to stakeholders.
  • Closing – Ensure project objectives have been met and internal customers have signed-off on a successful project.


Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Work alongside other Finance PM's to deliver against workstream KPI's.
  • Hold full responsibility for all activities relating to the development of a project charter
  • Identify all project stakeholders to ensure the project(s) has all the necessary involvement at the appropriate levels of the business.
  • Develop a comprehensive delivery plan committing to quarterly releases.
  • Work with SME’s to develop project schedules, identifying activities, estimating resources and corresponding timelines.
  • Work with SME’s to estimate project costs and presenting business cases to appropriate governance committee’s for approval.
  • Manage all project communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be the escalation / resolution point for the project
  • Manage the delivery of the project(s) in every aspect, overseeing quality, developing team members, RAID management and stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage change management ensuring new requirements are correctly analysed and validated.
  • Continuously looking at ways to improve delivery throughout project lifecycle
  • Control project costs, with focus on CAPEX and OPEX splits.
  • Drive collaboration between various functional teams across the business in order that key milestones are adhered too
  • Help drive the finance roadmap with interaction with key stakeholders and non-finance teams.
  • Participate and where necessary run Steering Committees and Project meetings at a up to C-Suite Level.
  • Oversee the closing of the project and benefit realization.


Skills / Experience – Essential

  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred with approximately 5 Years of related project management experience
  • A recognized Project Management qualification (Prince2, Agile, APM etc). is highly desired
  • Finance delivery experience, with particular focus on financial reporting, controls and common financial processes
  • Experience working on global projects with dispersed teams operating across numerous time zones
  • Evidence expertise leveraging both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Able to work calm under pressure and can think clearly to address challenges along the way
  • Self-starter and motivated with a proactive approach


We are a global organization, our Finance, Enterprise Delivery, and IT teams are based across US, UK and Bulgaria. This role will also have a key relationship with the Integrated Processing Finance Team based in Houston (the Woodlands), it will Partner with them on a series of projects, building a strong understanding of the challenges they face and help them reach their goals. This role will be the only Finance Project Manager role in Houston, for now, so the role will require an added level of self-motivation and self-organization but comes a great opportunity to be a key player on the team from day 1. The rest of the team will provide lots of support.
