Overview:

The Senior Product Manager, Banking Enablement supports the management of Paysafe’s network of banking partners that enable core financial products and services. This role works closely with Paysafe’s existing Banking team and serves as a bridge between Product and Banking, helping product managers design, launch, and scale products that rely on sponsor bank capabilities.

Acting as an extension of the product organization, this role partners with product managers to ensure the appropriate banking relationships, capabilities, and structures are in place to support initiatives such as acquiring, issuing, wallets, settlement, PayFac programs, and embedded finance solutions. The Senior Product Manager collaborates with the Banking team to help translate banking capabilities into scalable product solutions, while ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, and commercial requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product managers and the Banking team to support the design and launch of products that require bank sponsorship or banking infrastructure.
  • Help product teams identify and align the appropriate bank capabilities and sponsorship structures needed to support new product initiatives.
  • Translate banking capabilities into clear product requirements and implementation frameworks for internal product teams.
  • Assist in integrating bank-supported capabilities into products such as cards, wallets, payouts, merchant settlement, and PayFac programs.
  • Maintain documentation of the bank network capability catalog, including services, geographic coverage, and regulatory considerations.
  • Coordinate with the Banking team on bank approvals, program structures, and onboarding requirements for new products or partners.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations to ensure bank-enabled products align with regulatory and sponsor bank requirements.
  • Support commercial and partnership teams in structuring bank-enabled solutions for fintechs, ISOs, PayFacs, and enterprise partners.
  • Help identify opportunities to expand banking capabilities that enable new product functionality or geographic expansion.
  • Act as a key liaison between Product, Banking, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of banking-dependent initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in product management, payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
  • Experience working with bank-sponsored programs, including acquiring, issuing, PayFac sponsorship, settlement services, or embedded finance.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem including card networks, settlement flows, bank sponsorship models, and fintech program structures.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and operational considerations such as AML/BSA, KYC/KYB, safeguarding, and scheme compliance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Banking, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Commercial teams.
  • Ability to translate banking capabilities and constraints into clear product requirements and solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with external partners such as banks or financial institutions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate complex multi-team initiatives.
