How we work:
Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of one days per week at our Dublin office location.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the boards of Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited (PPSL1) and Paysafe Prepaid Services Limited (PPSL2), the role holder is responsible for:
- Leading the Paysafe Payments Solutions Limited and Paysafe Prepaid Services Limited’s Compliance function.
- Collaborating with Group Compliance functions, ensuring key Compliance risks and regulatory reporting obligations for the above entities are performed to the required standard.
- Coordinating and organising scheduled regulatory reporting for Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).
- Acting as central point of contact for CBI.
- Collaborating with the Senior Management Team in the delivery of key strategic business objectives in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Leading by example - in the promotion of a strong compliance culture throughout the organisation.
The impact you will have:
- Esure that policies, controls, and procedures are considered in all relevant functions including the development of new products, dealing with new customers and in changes to business activities.
- Advise and assist staff with compliance-related issues arising in their day-to-day business and answer compliance related questions arising out of daily business activity.
- Maintain a record of policies, controls and procedures, risk assessment and risk management including the application of systems, controls and procedures, with ultimate responsibility appropriately assigned to the Boards.
- Oversee the Compliance Programme and lead the Compliance Team.
- Oversee Compliance services which are outsourced to other companies within Paysafe Group.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the regulatory requirements and ensure any developments and changes are incorporated into procedures and practices as appropriate.
- Liaise with the CBI, maintaining an effective and open relationship and managing all regulatory inquiries and reviews, including reporting and notification matters.
- Provide regulatory training to all employees on relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and the maintain training records.
- Promote best practice by identifying the needs and best methods to improve risk management and controls.
- Review, assess and enhance compliance policies and procedures and the compliance monitoring programme to reflect regulatory developments and best practices.
- Timely and proactively escalate issues resulting from compliance monitoring, resolution tracking and management/board reporting.
- Ensure maintenance of accurate records and details to prepare effective management and board reports; and
- Provide early warning, guidance and advice on upstream and regulatory change, assessing the key implications for the business and contributing to and supporting the implementation strategy.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of Compliance leadership for a minimum of 10 years; preferably with experience in regulated entities in E-Money Institutions sector
- Experience in fintech / digital payments is necessary
- Previous PCF 12 approval by CBI in past roles.
