As a Crypto Business Development Lead for Enterprise Sales, you will play an instrumental role in growing our client base in key verticals in the US and Canada, with an opportunity to also cross-sell into UK, EU and LATAM markets. Via our single API and platform, you will be able to not only offer our Global Acquiring and Gateway Services but also offer over 100 Alternative Payment Methods, including our stand-alone Digital Wallets and eCash products, like Paysafecash and paysafecard. Due to our setup with eCash and Global Acquiring, we are perfectly suited to offer a unique value proposition towards Financial Inclusion and to help our partners and their end customers to solve a payment problem in their daily lives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in scaling and growing a portfolio of clients in the below verticals and will be given the autonomy to strategically add to this client base and make this their own. We are looking for a strong, hands on and passionate salesperson with a hunter mentality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify, develop and execute new sales opportunities in target verticals in close cooperation with the existing US sales team
  • Build collaborative relationships with key support functions in HQ, e.g. Product Management, Sales, Distribution, Marketing, Operations to ensure adequate solution for the partner
  • Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure proper setup of new sales leads 
  • Hunter mentality to close sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and quickly find solutions for challenges of customers

  • Sets clear goals that clearly align with Paysafe´s strategy 
  • Able to balance the needs of the organization with the needs of the business partner
  • Monitor changes in the market, regulatory and business environment, and adjusts plans, decisions and activities accordingly – understanding potential impacts and opportunities for the organization’s strategy.
  • Use data to enhance the quality of strategic decision making.
  • Engage fully in workforce planning to ensure that capacity and capability levels are in line with current and future requirements

Experience and Education:

  • Proven experience in an enterprise sales role (5+ years), preferably within the payments industry, financial services, Fintech, eCommerce industries
  • Knowledge and experience in the crypto/blockchain industry preferred
  • Solid North American network, preferably C-Level, and knowledge within the industry, focus ideally on Financial Industries, Healthcare and/or Government
  • Demonstrative experience in executing business strategies at a local/regional level
  • Experience of regulatory environment in the payment industry beneficial
  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization and familiarity with global reporting lines is beneficial
  • Hands-on mentality, international mindset
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
  • High standard of Salesforce and Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Clear thinker & communicator, able to work remotely in a fast paced, dynamic environment
