How we work:
The office is located in the Bikini Berlin building near Kurfürstendamm with easy access via public transport links. To foster team culture, we try as often as possible to meet in person in Berlin, preferably 2 days a week.
The impact you will have:
- Legal analysis and impact assessment of existing and upcoming regulation
- Detailed analysis of existing and upcoming regulation on European and international level
- Assess the impact of regulation on the various business lines of the Group and translate the impact analysis into advice for the business (including gathering of relevant business data etc.)
- Monitoring of legislative changes
- Review of industry related publications, newsletters etc.
- Effectively manage external counsel for updates on new legislative developments
- Proactively identify and contribute to the management of regulatory risk
- Draft positions papers, commentary and knowledge sharing materials for internal and external circulation
- Respond to consultations on proposed regulatory changes and participate in related lobbying activity
- Represent Paysafe at external meetings including with industry bodies
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Financial services regulation experience gained in a financial institution, regulator or financial services department of a law firm
- Experience in relation to cryptocurrencies
- Payments/E-Money industry experience preferred
- Team player with high self-motivation, positive ‘can-do’ attitude and collaborative approach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues to multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent organisation and project management skills including document management
- Must be fluent (written and spoken) in English
