To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

 

Position Overview:

This will be a direct hire opportunity located in Atlanta, GA. We are offering a hybrid workweek and have flexibility for times and days you come in. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will develop and maintain tests and tools to programmatically test and ensure high-quality delivery of Paysafe products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and a strong background in automated testing. You will define and enhance the test framework to make sure the team has the right level of testing.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Design and implement automated test framework, and help streamline quality governance
  • Design and review automated test cases and test scenarios based on requirements, data points and integrations that ensure adequate coverage and correctness
  • Enhance automation approach and current continuous testing capability
  • Provide guidance on best practices when developing automation code including documentation, maintainability, and data-driven development
  • Conduct training and mentor team members on new testing practices
  • Consult with the team to help ensure the highest standards of quality and testing at all stages of the development life cycle
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing testing metrics and suggest process improvements to improve the software development and testing processes including performance testing and monitoring

 

Required Qualifications and Skill: 

  • 5+ years of professional experience in testing of enterprise software products
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools, Selenium preferred with C# or Java
  • Strong practical experience in implementing functional tests that require an understanding of the application logic
  • Experience working with relational databases and strong knowledge in SQL scripts
  • Relevant experience in Agile or Scrum Software Development methodologies
  • Willing to rapidly adopt new technologies and improve your testing craft
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Expertise in debugging test failures and test automation environments, analyzing test results, and guiding team on ways to improve coverage
  • Expertise monitoring automated integration test suites for backend services
  • Experience with software technologies covering user experience, Service API, business workflows, and backend job processing
  • Experience in validation of REST/SOAP APIs
  • A collaborative attitude, and the ability to work as a team and independently

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in developing performance and load tests using Visual Studio, JMeter or similar tools
  • Experience with high volume financial services
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services
