The Risk & Compliance team incorporates Underwriting and Risk Integrations, Fraud & Risk Management, Credit & Risk (Periodic Review) and Compliance (including PCI DSS).


Paysafe is currently looking for a Senior Product Manager – Risk and Compliance to join our IT Development team in Atlanta, U.S.A


The person applying for this role needs to be energetic, passionate, with a desire to drive our holistic and overarching global strategy. They will be supporting the Risk and Compliance Defend roadmap by multitasking requirements across multiple workstreams and product lines.


This includes strategic planning, development, execution and measurement for initiatives, capabilities or functions that impact our compliance posture. They will have primary responsibility to ensure our Risk and Compliance requirements aligns with our company strategy.  


They will be well-versed in corporate governance best practices. They are professionals of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. You must be comfortable saying “no” when necessary and be result-oriented focused.


  • Working with the product teams and risk / compliance groups to incorporate the initiatives into the roadmap.
  • Making recommendations, building the business case for risk & compliance items, and recommending what items could be deferred or are not relevant for Paysafe product lines.
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to validate business requirements and turn those requirements into user stories. Be clear on the risk and compliance objectives, target to be achieved and how to get there. Ratifying proposed solution with team.
  • Engage and work closely with the Development team to help determine the best technical implementation methods, as well as a reasonable execution schedule.

  • Experience in working within an AGILE development environment. Gathering functional requirements and validating them with stakeholders. Support the roadmap process and execute requirements across multiple teams. Creating mock-ups and user journey. Implementing security controls around application access management, data access, workflow management etc. Experience implementing quarterly releases.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and manage team sprints / agile ceremonies. Work with development leads to identify the release when feature will be deployed. Get clarifications on concerns raised by teams. Provide KT sessions and training as needed. Find solutions to unblock the team and enable them to deliver technical features. Ensure team (outside sprint team) is aware of what is being built and why.


Candidate Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in Product Management.
  • Skilled at working within a diverse company across multi time zones.
  • Exceptional communication skills including ability to negotiate, influence, build consensus, clearly articulate to technical and non-technical audiences, communicate difficult messages in a professional and productive manner, excellent presentation, and facilitation competency.
  • Have an analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of Merchant and Consumer Risk and Compliance, procedures, and regulations; how to simplify them and automate the process.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility and make recommendations to all levels and ability to represent organization as a leader in cross-functional discussions/initiatives.
  • Change-oriented; actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly. 
  • Problem-solving skills - evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans. Understanding of Data Analytics and reasons for the same. Detail oriented, high availability and metrics insight design principals. Ability to solve very complex related issues that may span technical, legal, compliance and regulatory obligations across various lines of business and shared service areas of the company. 
  • Self-starter to drive change and manage results. Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
