To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager ISV, US Acquiring who will be responsible for recruiting, supporting, and upselling partners that want to board ISV / platform business with Paysafe and ultimately driving business growth through the ISV partner channel.
This role will include supporting the needs of current partners introduced through other Paysafe offices to generate both new and organic growth throughout North America and Europe as well as onboarding new partners/ISOs that were self-sourced or introduced through referrals/networks that want to board ISV business.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for driving ISO/ISV Partner growth through sales, marketing, and sales training initiatives.
  • Achieve a solid understanding of Paysafe’s business as well as great knowledge of the Company’s payment processing solutions, systems, services, and products.
  • Effectively coordinate and support business development activities for ISO/ISV Partners, such as requests for information, on-site presentations, client meetings and all sales/business development functions which help partners grow their portfolio. 
  • Negotiate contacts and Schedule A with partners wanting to board ISV business.
  • Recruit and source new partners who want to board ISV business
  • Perform ISO/ISV Partner Sales Training
  • Ensure seamless onboarding by educating partners on how to submit ISV business.
  • Work closely with US Acquiring sales leads to drive ISV/Platform business to Paysafe through their Partner Channel
  • Collaborate with Business Development teams across the organization to ensure that the ISV/ISO channel is well positioned and marketed appropriately
  • Work with marketing to ensure both internal sales teams and ISOs are equipped with adequate sales collateral related to the ISV offering
  • Liaise with Commissions teams across offices to ensure partners submitting ISV deals are being properly tagged and paid according to their Schedules.
  • Liaise with Partners as well as other internal departments to effectively respond to ISV/platform and partner inquiries and concerns, and to communicate feedback on customer and partner requirements, preferences, and valued-added features.  Work closely with internal clients (credit underwriting, risk) and facilitate horizontal communication across departments in order to ensure client satisfaction
  • Educate partners on where to go for follow ups on pending requirements, terminated accounts, merchant reconciliation queries, etc.
  • Qualify all partner lead opportunities
  • Work closely with Legal department for contractual questions/concerns/.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering and Integrations to support ISVs and platforms through their integration to Paysafe.
  • Reach revenue targets within assigned accounts through effective leadership, consultative support and relationship building to contribute to the attainment of the Company’s sales goals and avoid account attrition;
  • Serve as a point of escalation when changes to existing accounts under their portfolio are required, or when there is undue delay
  • Understand all bank credit policies, pricing models/strategies, global interchange and merchant profitability
  • Convey clear information to partners/ISOs regarding pricing or fee structures, industry rules and regulations, security and compliance matters, product information and best business practices
  • Actively maintain pipeline information in company sanctioned CRM (currently SalesForce). Produce a monthly Pipeline Report outlining new and organic opportunities
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Educate / market to the partner/ISO community about the ISV offering
  • Monitor residual and residual reviews as needed to assist Sales Partners.
  • Responsible for achieving clearly defined set monthly goals/quota consistent with the current vision/direction
  • Educate partners on Paysafe SLAs, accepted verticals, changes in industry regs, etc…
  • Motivate existing partners to submit more business with Paysafe
  • Responsible for Training and New Sales Partner orientation
  • Assist with sales questions, compliance questions, sales proposals, statement analysis

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Commerce, Business Administration or in an equivalent field of study.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant sales and business development experience, specifically within the electronic payment processing industry in North America.
  • Experience selling Integrated Software Platforms.
  • Solid understanding of competitive landscape, of ecommerce and mobile payments solutions with a proven track record in generating new business and in exceeding your sales targets.
  • Ability to strategically select potential partners and focus on maintaining multiple sourcing alternatives to ensure a continuous pipeline of potential prospects for new business and revenue opportunities.
  • Availability for occasional travel to meet and network with clients in person, to represent the Company at various industry events and shows and to regroup for sales meetings at one of the North American offices.
  • Experience with Sales Force or other CRM systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
